Send a rainbow, one postcard at a time
Here's what they'll get
Here's more about how it works
You’re sending someone a rainbow, one postcard at a time. Each week, they get a card with a slice of the rainbow. On the last one, they’ll find out it was from you. It’s a fun and slow surprise that unfolds over time, for weeks on end.
Not really. You can choose how many cards to send and write a short message for the final card (where your identity is revealed). The other cards can’t be changed.
Yes. You can get an email after each card is sent, just after the last one, or none at all. Your choice.
It usually takes about 7-9 days for the first card to arrive. While we try our best to estimate when the cards will arrive, there are a lot of factors we can’t control with mail delivery.
The cards are 4x6 inches, printed on thick paper with a thick UV coating. They will inevitably get a little beat up due to mail processing, but we consider that a feature and not a bug.
You can cancel within 4 hours of ordering. Just click the link in your confirmation email. After that, the rainbow’s already on its way and we do not offer any refunds. Please keep this into consideration prior to placing an order.
We use address autocomplete and verification to help avoid non-deliverable mail. If our system decides its not deliverable, you can’t place an order. If something seems off, let us know.
We use a third party vendor to print and ship the postcards. This ensures that your cards will look great and get to your recipient’s mailbox as expected. The whole process, from order to fulfillment, is completely automated.
I’ve been having a blast making apps that send weird postcards to people. The first one I made is ThreeKindWords.com. This was my second idea, and in doing so I got to try out a lot of new tools and technologies.
